Nashville Motos Resources

Whether you want to learn to ride, improve your riding skills or simply connect with other riders, there are several local resources available to you. Nashville Motos has been part of the Nashville motorcycling community for 25 years (and counting), and we are deeply proud to be associated with groups like the BMW Motorcycle Club of Nashville, the Music City DESMO Owner’s Club, and the Hellcats MC. Below is a list of local resources we’ve found to be helpful to many riders, new & seasoned alike.

RIDING CLASSES

  • Learn to Ride – Through different levels of motorcycle education training programs, participants can experience the basics of learning to ride or improve their riding skills. The courses are conducted under the auspices of the Tennessee Department of Safety’s Motorcycle Rider Education Program and the Motorcycle Safety Foundation.See The Mid Tenn Motorcycle site for more information and to sign up for a class.
  • Sportbike Track Time – A closed circuit course (racetrack) is the only place you can ride your sportbike and experience the true power and beauty of your machine without worrying about speed limits, traffic, or speeding tickets! Our events are open to riders of all skill levels and event formats are designed to give each rider maximum on-track time during our weekend and weekday events. You choose your skill group and ride at your own pace. STT will have track coaches in every group to evaluate all riders. Please keep in mind that we do not teach you how to ride a motorcycle.
  • BMW Performance Center Motorcycle Rider Training – The Performance Center offers training for both on-road and off-road enthusiasts focus on safety and performance, resulting in minimal time in the classroom and maximum time on the course.

MOTORCYCLE CLUBS.

  • BMW Motorcycle Club of Nashville – monthly meetings held at various locations around Nashville on the first Tuesday of every month.
  • Music City DESMO Owner’s Club – monthly meetings held at various locations around Nashville on the third Tuesday of every month.
  • Pseudo Moto – a Nashville, TN based motorcycle organization, founded in 2010 as a small group of local riders who shared an interest in classic motorcycles.

OTHER RESOURCES

  • Lane Motor Museum – Lane Motor Museum features 150 unique cars and motorcycles and is home to the largest European collection in the U.S. The vehicles date from the 1920s all the way up to modern day and feature a varied collection of microcars, amphibious vehicles, military vehicles, alternative fuel vehicles, prototypes, one-of-a-kind vehicles and motorcycles.
  • Nashville Moto Collective – Nashville Moto Collective is a DIY motorcycle shop located in Nashville, Tennessee. We provide a shared shop environment in a secure, private warehouse where members can learn from one another, ride together and have a good time.
